Hello,

My name is Tiffiny, and I am the “T” in K&T Elixier. I am a woman of God, a wife, a mother of two and an elementary school teacher-aide. I started creating these special elixiers for both my Aunt Jeanette and daughter Carissa when they couldn’t find products to hydrate their natural hair. 

 

After a few online videos on different methods to hydrate natural hair and many prayers I found two major ingredients that work to hydrate and grow ALL hair types: Rosemary and Clove. In regard to hair, Rosemary is great for blood circulation as well as oxygen. Clove helps to stimulate blood flow in the scalp, together they encourage hair growth and follicle activity. 

 

In just a week my daughter’s hair was more hydrated than it had ever been before and my aunt had hair growth and hydration!  Excited about what I had created I shared it with Kewonia, the “K” in “K&T Elixier, and she encouraged me to share these oils with some of her clients. From there we saw more and more great results and she created a business plan, shared that with me, and we prayed. We do prayer without prayer and God. 

 

We decided to move forward with the business plan and share this gift with those who struggle with any and all hair concerns and we haven’t looked back since! My reason for creating hair oil was to help my aunt and daughter and now I want to help as many men and woman enjoy their hair in whatever way they please!

Kewonia Grimes, also known as K'Shears, was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and raised in Killeen, Texas. Influenced by her mother, Mrs. Denise Benjamin, who has successfully run Denise Hair Designs for over 20 years, Kewonia developed a passion for the hair industry early on. While working as a shampoo technician in her mother's salon during high school, Kewonia discovered her love for creating transformative hairstyles and educating others. With determination and faith in God, she has pursued a successful career in the hair industry. Her ultimate goal is to open "K~Shears Beauty School of Excellence," where she hopes to inspire and mentor future beauty professionals.
